01Scope and agreement

These Terms apply to the RaceWhere website (racewhere.com) and its race discovery, saved races, personal race records, submissions, route files and feedback features. RaceWhere is the name of the service provider referred to as “we” in these Terms. Please read these Terms before using account or interactive features. If you do not agree, please stop using those features. Simply viewing a page does not waive any statutory rights.

02Our service

RaceWhere helps runners find and organize race information, keep personal participation plans, and submit additions or corrections. Unless a specific page expressly says otherwise, we are not an event organizer, registration agent, travel provider or medical provider. We do not promise entry places, visas, accommodation or transport on an organizer’s behalf. The current website does not collect race entry fees. If we introduce paid services, we will explain the price, service and conditions beforehand, and you will choose whether to purchase them.

03Eligibility

You must have the capacity and eligibility required by applicable law. Users below the legally required age, or without full legal capacity, must obtain a guardian’s consent and any necessary guidance to the extent permitted by law. Access to RaceWhere does not establish eligibility for a race. Age, health, qualification times and other entry requirements are determined by the organizer.

04Accounts and personal records

Use an email address that can receive messages, protect your sign-in links and devices, and do not impersonate someone or use their account without permission. Contact us promptly if you become aware of unauthorized account use. You maintain your saved races, entry status, results and notes. Marking a race as “registered” or “paid” on RaceWhere is not confirmation of registration or payment by the organizer. You may manage records using available editing or deletion features, or contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your account and related data. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law.

05Race information, translations and official verification

Names, dates, start locations, routes, distances, fees, entry windows, classifications and rules may come from organizers, public sources, user submissions or automated processing. Some information is parsed or translated using AI and may contain mistranslations, omissions, outdated details or conflicting sources. Chinese, Japanese and English versions do not replace an organizer’s official original materials. Labels such as date pending, city reference location, verified information or last updated describe the information available when displayed; they do not guarantee that it will remain unchanged. Before registering, paying, booking travel or leaving for an event, check the organizer’s latest announcements, eligibility requirements, actual start time and venue. Report errors using feedback or our contact email.

06Route files and participation safety

Shared tracks and maps are references and may contain positioning errors, route changes, closures or hazardous sections. They do not replace the organizer’s official course, on-site directions or local access rules. Make participation decisions based on your health, ability, weather and conditions, and consult qualified professionals when needed. Before uploading a track, remove home addresses, private activity locations and other sensitive information you do not wish to disclose. Do not upload another person’s precise location or private tracks without lawful authorization. A map’s “city reference location” is not an actual starting point.

07Submissions, feedback and content permission

Submit only truthful, race-related text, images, source links or route files that you have the right to provide, without infringing another person’s privacy, copyright or other rights. You retain the rights you legally hold in your content. To operate the relevant features, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission limited to providing the service: to store, review, make appropriate formatting edits, translate and display content that you expressly submit for public use, and to engage necessary service providers for these operations. This permission does not authorize unrestricted advertising use or sale of private content. Submissions are reviewed and publication is not guaranteed. We may decline or remove inaccurate, infringing or unsafe content, explaining the reason when reasonably practicable. Contact us to request a correction or withdrawal, or to challenge a decision. Necessary backups and legally required records may remain for the applicable retention period after withdrawal.

08Responsible use

Do not use the website for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, discrimination, spam or infringement of others’ rights. Do not upload malicious files, bypass access controls, misuse accounts, collect non-public personal information or automate access in a way that materially harms service stability. This clause does not prohibit lawful quotation, ordinary search engine indexing or legally permitted reasonable use. To report infringement or abuse, provide the relevant page, supporting facts and your contact information so we can investigate.

09Intellectual property

Original website design, code and original content are protected by applicable law. Event names, trademarks, logos and third-party materials belong to their respective rights holders. Showing race information or links does not indicate partnership, authorization or endorsement by an organizer unless expressly identified. Respect source attribution and rights notices. Lawful use of facts, permitted quotations and other statutory rights remain unaffected.

10Personal information and your choices

To provide features, we may process your sign-in email, personal race records, content you voluntarily submit, and information needed to operate and secure the service. Personal information processing must have the basis required by applicable law and is subject to relevant privacy notices and your statutory rights. These Terms alone are not blanket consent to all processing. Submissions may include your or another person’s personal information; provide only information relevant to the feature that you have a lawful basis to provide. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion or other applicable data rights. We may verify identity to the extent necessary to prevent someone else from accessing or deleting your data.

11Third-party services, entries and fees

The website may link to organizers, registration platforms, maps or other third-party services. Their rules, charges, privacy notices and refund conditions apply when you use those services. Handle registration, payment, withdrawal, postponement, cancellation, insurance and refunds with the relevant transaction party or organizer. Saving a race or opening an external link does not create a registration order with RaceWhere. We will reasonably address feedback about our links and displayed information, but do not promise transaction outcomes on a third party’s behalf.

12Service quality and responsibility

We will exercise reasonable care in maintaining the service, handling feedback and correcting identified problems, but cannot guarantee that information is always complete, current and accurate or that the website will never be interrupted. Use the information alongside official materials and actual conditions. Each party is responsible for its own conduct under applicable law. Responsibility for decisions involving events or third-party services depends on the parties’ actual conduct and legal obligations. These Terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including protected liability for personal injury, intentional misconduct or gross negligence, fraud, and mandatory consumer rights. They do not require you to waive statutory remedies.

13Changes, restrictions and updated Terms

We may change features for maintenance, incident response, security risks, legal requirements or reasonable product changes. Restrictions for violations or safety risks will be proportionate to the risk. Except where urgent security or legal reasons prevent it, we will explain the reason when reasonably practicable and provide a way to contact us to appeal. If a service is discontinued, we will give advance notice when reasonably practicable and explain how related data will be handled. Updated Terms will show their version and effective date on this page. We will announce material changes on the website or by other reasonable means and seek consent where required by law. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already accrued.

14Contact, applicable law and languages

For questions, complaints, corrections, content rights or data requests, contact juvenpp@gmail.com with relevant page or account details. Do not send passwords or complete sign-in links. You may contact us first to try to resolve a dispute; doing so does not restrict access to competent authorities, consumer protection bodies or courts with jurisdiction. Applicable law and jurisdiction are determined in accordance with law, and no provision excludes mandatory protections that apply to you. The Chinese, Japanese and English versions are intended to have the same meaning. If they differ, we will clarify and correct them without reducing your statutory rights because of a translation difference. If a provision is legally invalid, other independently enforceable provisions continue to apply.
